A former pastry chef at places like Cafe Boulud and Daniel, Tiara Bennett opened this Alphabet City bakery without much fanfare nearly a year ago, selling perfected classics like brown butter brownies, chocolate chip cookies, and a memorable black-and-white one, along with mini apple pies and slices of loaf cake.
